About this place
At The Beef Master Ginza Store, a meal can take in more than yakiniku: yakisuki and hand-formed Wagyu sushi are also part of the menu. The Takumi Course brings together popular cuts of Kagoshima Black Beef, including thick-cut kainomi and a special assortment, alongside seafood yukhoe, yakisuki and Wagyu meat sushi. It comprises 9 dishes, making it a good option for trying a range of cuts and exploring ways to enjoy Wagyu beyond the grill.
For an à la carte alternative, try yakisuki: thinly sliced zabuton is grilled, then wrapped around grilled spring onion and egg yolk. Kagoshima Black Beef cuts can also be ordered by the piece, with options including tongue shabu and misuji. One visitor recalls ordering a lunch set with grilled Wagyu and stew, describing the portion of meat as just right and the beef stew as memorable. At lunchtime, it is worth considering a combination that includes both grilled beef and stew.
Another visitor ordered a sushi set and says staff explained how to eat the meat and how far to cook it. Courses featuring Wagyu nigiri are available, as are seared nigiri sets in two- or four-piece portions, so sushi can be added between grilled dishes. The restaurant has private rooms and can accommodate groups, making it an option for a meal with colleagues or friends when a more private setting is welcome.
